This is a hands-on, interactive camp designed to help high school girls see how business and technology skills are combined in a variety of high profile careers. Students will explore different careers while building an online shopping mall with other high school girls from around Minnesota. By discovering how it feels to be “at college” by taking classes and staying overnight on campus for one week. College professors, current college students and outside speakers provide a unique learning and mentoring experience. The application deadline for early consideration is March 17. The final deadline is April 28.
Camp Details
Who: Freshman and sophomore girls during the 2005/2006 high school year with interests in Business, technology, languages, and/or math.
When: Sunday July 17 through Friday, July 21
Where: College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, located on Randolph Avenue between Fairview and Cleveland. Dormitory accommodations and all meals are included.
Cost: $550. Scholarships are available
Application Deadline:
March 17 for early consideration.
April 28 is final deadline. Space is limited.
